Weather

I want to lodge a complaint. The weather SUCKS. I have been talking to the servant about it, but she says that "it's beyond my control." She controls the flow of food to my bowl, the least she could to is control the weather.

Monday: It's rained here . What a downer.

Major storms. Flash flood warnings. Kind of the pits.

We love our servant. But....she's a little slow on the uptake. She insists that we go outside. Is she not aware that whippets can melt? Hmmmmm. So frustrating. Note the small lake forming in the backyard. We don't do our business in large bodies of water.

The humans have this mistaken assumption that we won't melt. However, the Great Ancient Whippet DID melt once. Humans think that this is not possible. It is. We know.
So, after this onslaught of preciptation is there relief? No. Throgh some cosmic disarray, this arrives: that's right SNOW. Five inches of the fluffy stuff came down. We live in the south -- it's not supposed to snow here. For some reason, the servant thought we might enjoy the white stuff. Why is beyond me. Snow is cold. Girl Goobers don't like cold. And what I don't like, the Wayward Whippets don't like.

Thankfully, the temperatures warmed to 50 the night after the snow, so all of the white stuff went away; however, that left us with a muddy, somewhat wet soup on which we were supposed to do "our business."
I don't understand WHY the servant insists that we do our stuff outside. She does her "business" in the luxury of a nice warm room. I don't quite understand the whole ceramic throne thing, but I think if modified, a whippet could use one. I got Mati to pose for this picture. That kid will do ANYTHING for a milk bone (kind of scary how eaasy it is to bribe her). She didn't like sitting on the throne .... she said it was a little too narrow and if the lid wasn't down the seat would be too slick, but I think there is potential. Anyone want to design a whippet appropriate toilet?
